Job Title: Automation Technician

Job Description

The Automation Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality of systems before they are shipped out. This role involves testing system functionality, verifying PLC codes, ensuring pumps and valves are operating correctly, and troubleshooting programming issues.

Responsibilities

• Test the functionality of systems before shipping.
• Verify and troubleshoot PLC codes.
• Ensure pumps and valves operate correctly and communicate back to the machine.
• Troubleshoot any programming issues.
• Work with test equipment and schematics.

Essential Skills

• Experience in automation and PLC programming.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and programming.
• Ability to test equipment and read schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3 years of experience with troubleshooting PLCs.
• 3 years of experience with testing industrial equipment.
• 3 years of experience working with industrial or capex equipment.

Work Environment

The Automation Technician will work from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, with the option to start earlier if desired. The work schedule consists of four 10-hour days.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $36.00
