Actalent is currently hiring Bilingual Front Office Medical Assistants in North Dallas.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Assistant. The role requires a bilingual individual who will work from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and their friends/family professionally.
• Register and schedule appointments for patients in an efficient and timely manner.
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls to appropriate personnel, relaying messages between patients and clinical staff.
• Check in patients and inform clinical staff of patient arrival.
• Provide and explain paperwork for patients to complete prior to examination.
• Update patient demographics and insurance information in the system.
• Check patients out after examination and schedule returning appointments in accordance with physician and/or office guidelines.
• Maintained lobby area in a neat and orderly manner.

Qualifications

• Bilingual capability and proficiency in English and Spanish
• At least 2 years of front office and back office medical assistant experience.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00
