Job Title: CAD Drafter

Job Description

We are currently undergoing a transition from Creo to SolidWorks and seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to assist in converting files. This is a 12-month contract position with the potential to become a permanent role based on performance. The primary responsibility will be converting Creo files to SolidWorks, which may require creating new drawings and assemblies from scratch in SolidWorks. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and work in a clean, dynamic environment with smart and driven individuals.

Responsibilities

• Convert files from Creo to SolidWorks.
• Create models and drawings from scratch in SolidWorks.
• Draft new parts if they cannot be found in existing files.
• Ensure accurate grammar of drafting in all drawings.
• Test and verify the accuracy of converted files.

Essential Skills

• 1 years of drafting experience.
• 1 years of experience with Creo.
• 1 years of experience with SolidWorks.
• Proficiency in creating models and drawings in SolidWorks.
• Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment

The work environment is an R&D office with a business casual dress code. Most individuals wear jeans, and some wear t-shirts. The office hours are flexible, with most employees arriving between 7:30-8:00am and leaving between 4:00-5:00pm. The facility is clean, and you will be working with smart and driven individuals.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
