Large nationwide known engineering consulting firm which specializes in utility and telecom projects. Located in Pittsburgh actively hiring for a CAD drafter to join their team. This is a long term opportunity with frequent pay raises and upward mobility.
Job Description:
MUST HAVES:
1. Experience using CAD to some extent
2. High School Diploma
This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Doing AutoCAD or Microstation drafting work.
- Transferring phone and cable records from AutoCAD to Microstation
- Plotting different utility poles and electrical lines for cities and towns
- Ability to communicate and work with field staff
- Ability to work within a team to perform drafting and design
