Description
PCI is a calibration services company that supports life sciences companies across the nation, these teams will sit onsite with customers supporting the new equipment calibration for the engineering center in Columbus. Will be working with other calibration engineers and technicians and report to an engineering manager of Client. Calibration Technicians complete calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with accurate and timely GxP documentation, following PCI and/or client specific policies and procedures. They are expected to take a proactive role in supporting the Team and in providing client support and are expected to build a high level of trust with internal and client personnel. • With minor supervision, completes calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with accurate and timely GxP documentation, following PCI or client specific policies and procedures, and in a safe manner. • With guidance, able to perform flow, conductivity, pH, mass and dimensional calibrations. • Is attune to potential new opportunities for PCI when at a client site or interacting with a client and relays this lead back to Leader/Manager. • Completes timesheets with correct labor code charges (weekly) and assists other PCI Associates in proper coding of time and expenses. • Responsible for proper handling and maintenance of PCI and client equipment, including testing and standards equipment. • Learning to troubleshooting and perform repairs, but the majority of work will continue to be scheduled calibrations and maintenance events • Able to identify and report any safety issues at the work site, including educating peers on safety practices.

received updated information on the project now that we have someone onsite from our team. This is all process/manufacturing related equipment, so a laboratory technician is not going to be able to perform the work. We really need an instrumentation technician with calibration experience of pressure, temperature, electronics etc. If they have not worked in pharma but have the experience with the equipment from another industry that is a solid possibility. There are no labs/HPLC/mass spec in this project. Having a CCST certification field service roles-traveling to clients for equipment calibration Having pharma equipment experience
