Medical Assistant

Job Description

• The Medical Assistant will assist providers with patient appointments in a surgical physician's clinic.
• Responsibilities include taking patient vitals and entering medical history
• Cleaning and stocking exam rooms, and preparing patient charts for providers on clinic days.
• Medical assistants are also responsible for scanning all patient documents to charts, scheduling radiology testing, and obtaining all necessary records and films for providers to review at appointments.
• The Medical Assistant must be open to travel to Lee Summit or Independence.
