Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced podiatry department. You will work directly with two doctors, performing triage, taking medical histories, recording vitals, entering lot numbers for injections, and assisting with biopsies and other procedures. You will use the Athena EMR system for data entry. This role involves floating between multiple office locations, with a primary focus on the new Bridgewater hub and occasional work in Martinsville.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Bridgewater, New Jersey.

Work Environment

You will work in two locations with two doctors and other medical assistants on site. The typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with two late nights until 6 PM and occasional Saturdays from 8 AM to 12 PM. Expect to see around 40 patients per day. Training includes a few weeks of boot camp for soft casting and other procedures, leading to independent patient management after two weeks.
