Job Title: Civil Design Engineer

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Civil Design Engineer with 1-2 years of experience or a Designer with 4 years of experience to join our engineering firm. This role offers the opportunity for growth and development under the guidance of two experienced Project Managers (Professional Engineers). The successful candidate will provide crucial design support and collaborate with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support using AutoCAD/Civil 3D (preferred) or MicroStation/GeoPak software for civil/site-related projects.
• Complete project tasks within deadlines and work within allotted project budgets.
• Coordinate work with other engineers, designers, and technicians.
• Ensure quality control procedures are implemented.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of experience as a Civil Engineer or 4 years of experience as a Designer.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D or MicroStation/GeoPak software.
• Experience in stormwater design and land development.
• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT certification preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in CAD, design, and drafting.
• Ability to work within project budgets and deadlines.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Work Environment

The position is based in an office environment near PNC Arena, with approximately 10% travel to the field.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
