Job Title: Civil Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a civil designer to work on site development projects for commercial and residential clients using AutoCAD and other design software, as well as handling permitting.

Responsibilities

• Work on site development projects for commercial and residential clients.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation for civil site design.
• Handle permitting processes, especially in Baltimore and Harford counties.
• Perform grading and drafting tasks.
• Create and manage site plans.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.

Essential Skills

• 1-3 years of experience with civil site design or CAD experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.
• Experience in civil design, grading, and site development.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Permitting experience, especially in Baltimore and Harford counties, is desirable but not required.

Work Environment

The role is based on-site 5 days a week at our office in Timonium. The firm offers a supportive and tight-knit work environment with opportunities for training and development. The team has worked on projects ranging from half an acre to 120 acres, including notable projects like the Bayview Medical Center and the Donald Schaeffer Terminal at BWI Airport.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00
