What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
The Civil Engineer will execute technical work assignments on Land Development/Municipal engineering projects individually or as part of a project team under the direction of a professional engineer. This positions is open to entry level and experienced candidates based off their interest and internship experience.
The Civil Engineer provides the following design services;
- Site grading
- StormWater management
- Zoning and SALDO Ordinance review
- Erosion & sediment control
They will also be working with clients, attorneys, other engineers, township officials and individuals who do not possess and understand the land development process. They must be able to explain and educate them.
Must Haves:
• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
• EIT/PE or in process of working towards one (This will all be based on the amount of years of experience they have)
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Revit
• 1-8 years of working professionally
• Experience in Land Development Engineering, Municipal Engineering or Water (Land Development only for Philly office)
