Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Description

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the design and supervision of the civil engineering process, specifically site design, planning, and construction. Throughout the design development and construction process, they will assist clients and manage the site development process - site grading, drainage, zoning, and utility planning. Projects include design-build, commercial buildings, medical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, education, and other local community projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Planning and site plan development including grading, drainage, zoning, and utilities

- Assist clients with budgeting and planning activities

- Prepare schematic design and perspective drawings, layouts, drafting, and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D

- Visit project sites to monitor projects

- Participate in the engineering proposal process

- Coordination with clients through project durations

- Work with municipal applications, permits, code review, and site plan approval process

- Assist with project close-outs
