Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated civil engineer to assist the Project Manager on Site Civil Engineering Projects. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of civil engineering projects, including the preparation of site, grading, utility, and erosion control plans. The role includes determining the feasibility of development projects and assessing land to ensure it can support the planned development. The engineer will assist in designing water/wastewater, sewer, storm systems, drainage, surfaces, building, and grading work layouts.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in design work for land site development projects.
• Prepare site, grading, utility, and erosion control plans.
• Determine feasibility of development projects.
• Assess land to ensure it can support planned developments.
• Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Participate in permitting and hydrology study preparation.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with 2-3 years of design experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong verbal communication and time management skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• EIT certification preferred.
• Experience in permitting and hydrology study preparation beneficial.

Work Environment

The position is based in Historic Roswell, Georgia, in offices located in the former mills of the Roswell Manufacturing Company. The office features beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails in the backyard. The working hours are flexible (8-5 or 9-3) with a hybrid schedule available after a 45-day probationary period.
