Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team, specializing in solid waste and landfill design projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of landfill sites. This role requires proficiency in Civil 3D and a strong understanding of environmental regulations and waste management practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan landfill projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
• Oversee the construction and maintenance of landfill sites.
• Utilize Civil 3D for design and drafting.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Manage site grading, drainage, and erosion control.
• Ensure project management and coordination are effectively handled.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D for design and drafting.
• Strong knowledge of solid waste management and landfill design.
• Experience with site grading, drainage, and erosion control.
• Understanding of environmental regulations and compliance.
• Project management and coordination skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD and other design software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles.
• Familiarity with hydrology and hydraulic modeling.

Work Environment

Office-based with occasional field visits to project sites. Use of advanced design software and tools. Collaborative team environment with opportunities for professional growth.
