Job Description
The Cleanroom Maintenance Technician role involves the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of wafer fabrication equipment. The position requires managing and performing preventive maintenance on key equipment such as cleanroom, semiconductor equipment, ESD workstations, and machine shop.
Responsibilities
- Manage and perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all key pieces of equipment, including cleanroom, semiconductor equipment, ESD workstations, and machine shop.
- Change gases utilized in a cleanroom environment, such as O2, Helium, and N2.
- Run stainless steel gas lines for use in a cleanroom environment.
- Oversee and manage consumable and non-consumable supplies for labs and cleanroom.
- Coordinate with service vendors required for equipment repair and maintenance, consumable gases, and HVAC.
Essential Skills
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Experience maintaining plasma-assisted deposition and vacuum-based systems.
- Ability to change gases and run stainless steel gas lines in a cleanroom environment.
- At least 5 years of experience working on cleanroom equipment.
- At least 2-3 years of general facilities management experience.
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with machine shop equipment, HVAC, and electrical power requirements.
- Ability to create processes and procedures.
- Attention to detail with a focus on facility safety and areas of improvement.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with undefined requirements and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Work Environment
The work environment is fast-paced and requires a focus on safety and areas of improvement. The technician will work with semiconductor equipment, vacuum systems, and in cleanroom conditions. The role demands adaptability to undefined requirements and tasks with minimal supervision.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $57.96/hr.
