What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Lab Scientist position at Actalent?
Description:
The Clinical Lab Scientist will perform procedures to complete test order entry, specimen collection and specimen processing/handling. They will performs analyses of biological specimens using different test methods, producing test results necessary for patients in the hospital. This includes performing post-analytic procedures, including interpretation, releasing, reporting results; amending/correcting results, responding to inquiries, and specimen storage and retrieval.
This role is on the night shift and this individual will float between hematology, chemistry, and some microbiology. If the CLS is interested in long-term training, they can train on blood banking.
