Description
The Clinical Performance Improvement Manager will provide leadership, oversight, and actively manage the day-to-day operations of the CPI team within the Quality and Process Improvement Department. This position ensures the appropriate clinical abstraction of measures, reporting, implementation, and monitoring of clinical performance improvement activities as it relates to CMS and Joint Commission core measures. The role collaboratively works with appropriate stakeholders to ensure that all organizational and regulatory agency reporting requirements are met. The CPI Manager also manages the AHRQ PSI review and improvement process by supervising staff to conduct reviews and facilitate improvement efforts. This role is pivotal in helping improve quality goals.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor 's Degree in Public Health, Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
Lean Six Sigma certification or CPHQ or other industry quality certification.
Five (5) years or more hospital-based performance CMS/TJC reporting, improvement, quality assurance, or utilization management experience
Three (3) years of experience in leadership/management role
Preferred Skills:
Clinical experience with quality certification. Master’s degree in public health, Hospital Administration, Business Administration or related field. Experience leading performance improvement teams using Lean Six Sigma concepts and methods.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $87672.00 - $135200.00/yr.
