Actalent is a global leader in Engineering Service and talent solutions. We are looking for a Mechanical Estimator to work in a client facing role. This is a great opportunity to work with a local company on a variety of commercial projects throughout the Portland area!
Description:
We are searching for a Mechanical Estimator with strong client engagement skills to meet with potential customers, estimate, and win projects that have a mechanical scope of up to roughly $1 million
Contact and follow up with Leads and customers to review their project needs
Review and put together project estimates to support RFP requirements
Estimating to include plumbing, HVAC piping and sheet metal.
Review project documents and develop take-off’s per plans, project specifications, P&ID’s, schematics, etc.
Prepares list of Subcontractors and/or Suppliers for quotation.
