My client is family owned Design/Build firm that is looking for a Estimator for commercial construction. Some preferred projects for estimation experience are healthcare facilities, hospitality, education facilities, manufacturing facilities, offices, airport/aviation facilities, restaurants, etc. Must fully understand construction, compile detailed scopes of work, and analyze subcontractor proposals. Acceptable software are PlanSwift, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff or similar programs

Job Description

• Support all aspects of subcontractor and supplier estimating and bidding processes
• Attend project site pre-bid meetings, site tours, and post-bid interviews as required
• Administration of bidding documents
• Solicit subcontractors and vendors for quotations on each project
• Reviewing and understanding of plans and specs
• Writing detailed scopes of work
• Accurately evaluate / analyze subcontractor pricing
• Quality and material takeoffs
• Process RFP, RFQ, and internal pricing requests
• Work on multiple company bids simultaneously and delivering in accordance with deadline objectives
• Develop, prepare, coordinate, and execute presentations and proposals to existing or new clients
• Set up project estimate and determine general condition costs
• Creating, updating, and organizing subcontractor and vendor lists
• Compile, verify, and update unit pricing
• Review constructability and schedule with Operations
• Develop cost saving suggestions for client
• Develop conceptual and budget estimates

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
