Seeking a Construction Project Leader will be responsible for serving as the on-site client representative, overseeing all aspects of the construction project.

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects to ensure that project deliverables and budgets are met.
• Ensure that construction conforms to the specifications, plans, and special provisions.
• Verify appropriate materials are being used and with appropriate documentation.
• Research and resolve problems in the field.
• Perform construction inspection duties as needed.
• Assist with field survey activities, as needed.
• Work cooperatively with other project managers, engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Attend and participate in meetings with clients, contractors, consultants, and the public.
• Provide technical support, oversight, and leadership to assigned project staff.
• Perform business development for company's services.
• Review and assist in-house design plan development as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Familiarity with WisDOT and local agency procedures for design and construction.
• Experience successfully delivering construction projects in leading role.
• WisDOT Highway Technician Certification Program (HTCP) certifications desirable.
• Valid driver's license. • AutoCAD is not required but would be a plus.
• Good interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
