What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Quality Control Manager position at Actalent?
This Construction Quality Control Manager can work in Denver, CO or Colorado Springs, CO and the ability to travel 30-40% is required.
Description:
- Responsible for coordinating, overseeing and documenting the quality control program on field projects
- Identifying, analyzing, and developing improvements in productivity, client relationships, and customer service
- Responsible for coordination and execution of site work, overseeing and documenting the quality control and safety programs on projects
- Complete daily documentation requirements including reports and photos
- Monitor work performance and productivity of trades to ensure project specifications, procedures, quality, and safety requirements are maintained
- Submit Daily QC report to client and distribute to project team
- Plan the work schedule, determination of appropriate manpower levels, materials/quantities (and quality thereof), and equipment requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field. In lieu of a degree, experience will be taken into consideration.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in direct quality control management and minimum 5 years of direct Federal DoD construction experience.
- Proficient in the use of NAVFAC eCMS and USACE RMS for reporting.
- Must have current CQM certificate through USACE
- Must have strong ability to read and interpret project design documents including project drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Working knowledge of Procore Project Management Software is a Plus
