Job Title: Electrical Controls Technician

Job Description

As an Electrical Controls Technician, you will develop and maintain knowledge and become familiar with electrical control manufacturers' products. You will utilize electrical software including RSLogix 5000, Modicon, and other PLC, HMI, and VFD configuration software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of electrical control manufacturers' products.
• Utilize electrical software including RSLogix 5000, Modicon, and other PLC, HMI, and VFD configuration software.
• Work independently and be self-motivated.
• Use Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Perform hands-on work with heavy industrial equipment.
•   Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures in all plant manufacturing equipment which includes but is not limited to, mixing, filling, packaging equipment, conveyers, or any other equipment.
• Responsible for hands on maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all plant pneumatics, hydraulics, electric systems including the ability to connect to programmable logic control (PLC) systems, use them to trouble-shoot equipment or modify programs to improve performance or quality or both.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $39.00
