Job Description:
Summary: Develops digital or analog electronic circuits and product packaging by performing the following duties. This position has a moderate level of independence. In complex projects, this position may work more closely under the direction of the Hardware Development Manager.
- Creates hardware design solutions such as digital or analog circuit design, microprocessor-based board
level design, printed circuit board layout, digital signal processing, product packaging and related
accessories.
- Oversees engineering life cycle of hardware products including architecture, design, and implementation.
- Confers with product marketing on writing of functional specifications.
-Designs product solutions and features using a hardware description language.-
- Manages all schematic entry.
- Maintains relationships with vendors and orders necessary parts.
- Makes modifications to product lines as necessary.
- Designs and directs electronic engineering and technical personnel in fabrication of testing and test
control apparatus and equipment.
- Plans and conducts analysis and inspection to assure the quality of test equipment and process.
- Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems.
