What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Drafter position at Actalent?
Description:
The Electrical Engineering Drafting Technician will work alongside and report to the RD Controls Engineering Director and be responsible for the support the R & D Electrical and Control’s drawing/design activities, drafting, AUTOCAD drawing for multiple projects. This support will be coordinated with R & D Electrical and Control’s project to provide construction ready documentation activities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Drafting – Install electrical and control’s wiring and conduit connections to PLC, Junction Boxes, Switches, Disconnects, Motors, VFD’s, 3-Phase and one phase.
• AUTOCAD release 2020 and above.
• Generate drawings, printing, plotting, scale and non-scale drawings.
• Create drawing for review with a rev number shown on a title block of Carbon America.
• Basic Schematics drawing layout.
• Basic PLC control system Input Output wiring drawings.
• Basic knowledge or understanding of controls and Electrical.
• Basic knowledge or understanding of industrial electrical wiring or design.
• Basic knowledge or understanding on instrument details drawings and support.
