Job Description
Join our dynamic Engineering Department focusing on the industrial manufacturing market. As our Electrical Engineer, you will work closely with our Lead Electrical Engineer to provide solutions for our clients and support projects across the US. Your role will encompass the complete project life cycle, from technical studies to detailed engineering design and constructability reviews. Responsibilities include designing and engineering Power Distribution, Facility Lighting, and Grounding Systems, developing Power Panel Schedules, and Motor Control System and Process Control Panel Design. You will also create Process Instrumentation Wiring Diagrams and communicate effectively with project teams, customers, and other engineering departments.
Hard Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology
- 10 years of experience in the engineering/design field
- PE license or desire to pursue PE licensure
- Experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams)
- Practical experience with engineering calculations (Short Circuit, Overcurrent Protection Coordination, and ArcFlash) using computer modeling software
- Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code(NEC)
- Practical experience with Autodesk REVIT and AutoCAD MEP
- Practical experience with lighting design software AGI32 or similar

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Charlotte, North Carolina and some days remote.
