Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to develop and review electrical design plans, specifications, and calculations for complex projects. You will conduct load calculations, short circuit studies, and coordination studies. The role includes overseeing the Electrical Team, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff. Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations such as NEC, IEC, NFPA. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on electrical engineering matters, prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders, and address and resolve client queries and issues promptly and professionally.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Somerville, New Jersey and some days remote.

Work Environment

Office environment with a hybrid schedule of 3 days in-office and 2 days WFH. The office has an open floor plan with separate cubes and offices around the perimeter in a beautiful building located in the center of town with a parking garage next door. Our projects include working on 90% public and 10% private sectors, involving entities like Post Offices, Warehouses, Industrial, Commercial, and Municipal facilities.
