Job Description
We are on the lookout for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team. You will lead the design and development efforts in a leading company that specializes in custom lighting systems design and manufacturing.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Selecting topology to maximize efficiency, performance, and minimize size and cost
- Validating concepts through design calculations and simulations
- Designing and developing high voltage and high-power converters/inverters
- Using your working knowledge of EMI (CM and DM), transformers, and semiconductor switches and different PWM schemes
- Modeling using Pspice, PLECS, and MATLAB/Simulink
- Utilizing schematic capture and High voltage, High-speed PCB layout using Altium Designer
- Working hands-on in a lab environment

Work Environment
You will be working directly with the president and Director of engineering, contributing to R&D research, and getting to see your product from start to finish. The work hours are from 8:30 to 5:30, and the role requires some work on the manufacturing floor. This position is 100% onsite.
Location
The role is located in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
