What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineer position at Actalent?
Looking to hire an Electrical Engineer! 1-3 years of experience
The ideal candidate understands high-volume commercial product design and is familiar with the design concepts of commercial portable and handheld devices - but this is not a requirement. They will be testing the prototype to ensure it is ready for production. Someone with microprocessor based design experience would be ideal.
Job Description:
• Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications.
• Determines design approaches and parameters.
• Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.
• Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
• Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience.
• Understands basic electronic circuitry concepts and is familiar with electronic design documentation and schematics.
• Has CAE experience (e.g. Cadence Schematic entry/Design tools).
• Is comfortable with electronics test and measurement equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and other common lab equipment.
