Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team, responsible for engineering and design to support the sustainable operation of our Low Voltage Distribution (LVD) distribution system. This role involves collaborating with teams across the organization to develop technical projects, both new and existing. The main responsibilities include designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, and systems in our industrial facilities. The successful candidate will also ensure that the installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications and technical drawings. Additionally, the role involves establishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards, ensuring compliance with codes, and directing activities related to installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing. This position requires frequent fieldwork, including inspections and direct involvement in field operations.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Jackson, Michigan and some days remote.

Work Environment

This position is based in Grand Rapids, Greenville, North Kent, and Big Rapids, with the majority of the work in West Kent. It offers a hybrid work environment, combining work from home, in-office, and extensive fieldwork. The role requires a significant amount of time in the field to assist with inspections and field operations.
