Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role involves working on electronic and mechanical systems, with a focus on circuit debugging, PCBA design, and testing. You will have the opportunity to support cutting-edge products such as the Symplicitytrade G4 renal denervation RF generator.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute board test plans and initial execution.
- Manage prototype hardware in the lab and local locations.
- Design and verify medical electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with IEC international standards.
- Apply and ensure consistent rework across all systems, including directing technicians.
- Manage software and PL installed on the systems/PCBAs.
- Support software systems and PCBA, including issue debugging.
- Lead technicians in testing initial PCBAs and assist with EMC test setup.
- Collaborate with PL, EE, and external teams on hardware interfaces and design reviews.
- Design lab test fixtures and test boards to support functional testing.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 1 years of experience in medical device product development or equivalent.
- Proven hands-on electronic and mechanical skills.
- Circuit debugging experience.
- Experience with printed circuit board design and testing.
- Familiarity with standard test equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Altium Designer, Code Beamer.
- Knowledge of IEC international standards and common industry standards for ablation systems.
- Experience in a regulated industry is preferred.
Work Environment
The role is primarily onsite, requiring presence 4 days a week. You will work in a lab setting, managing prototype hardware and collaborating with various teams to advance technology and ensure quality outcomes in product development.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
