Description:
Perform manufacturing and technical tasks to support Remote Sensing production and service departments.
• Works closely with other engineering technicians and engineers to develop an expert level of understanding of our products to test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair them.
• Responsible for initial diagnostic testing of electrical components
• Follow work instructions to assemble or disassemble products or replace components.
• Maintain contact with technical support and supervisor.
• Soldering components on circuit boards, soldering wiring
• Coordinate the prototype and production approval processes and documentation.
Perform special assignments as required
• Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing, sitting, stooping, bending, crawling, and crouching if required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Experience reading, understanding, and following printed circuit board schematics and diagrams, component and assembly drawings, production and assembly instructions and manuals.
• Experience with general electronic test equipment (Multimeter and Torque wrench)
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, while maintaining quality standards.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks, lifting to 75 lbs.
• Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to carry out written and verbal instructions.
• Must have experience soldering components and wiring.
• Experience in manufacturing and quality is preferred.
• Basic reading, math, computer, and measurement skills
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) experience
