What are the responsibilities and job description for the Embedded Controls Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
- This position will be responsible for the design, analysis, and maintenance of control systems for new and existing products. The position will also be responsible for the management of engineering projects related to new control systems.
- Manage control system projects through all development phases, from System Requirements Analysis to System Integration & Testing, and finally to release to production.
- Write control system documentation (e.g. hardware & software design specifications, hardware and software test plans).
- Evaluate hardware and software deviation requests and recommend changes for product improvement.
- Oversee the drafting of new products and product modifications.
- Write BOM’s (Bills of Materials) for new and modified products.
