Actalent is seeking an Engineering Technician
Description:
- Will be setting up tests, performing tests, gathering data and analyzing and communicating back to designers
- Will be testing new and current products as well as customers parts
- Testing parts like filters, pumps, heat pumps, gas heaters, and compressors
- Designs test setups and execute tests incorporating equipment such as flow meters, pressure transducers, vacuum transducers, voltmeters, and computerized test equipment where applicable

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Min of 2 year degree - prefer Engineering Technology Degrees, required.
- 4 Year Engineering degree preferred
- Competent and comfortable with intermediate mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles
- Strong aptitude and experience with the testing and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Team player with strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and reasoning skills.
- Ability to interpret test results and troubleshoot test setups
- Proven problem solving, analytical, and logical reasoning skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs
- Proficient in the use of basic measurement, instrumentation equipment and data acquisition systems.
