What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Technician position at Actalent?
Description:
Under guidance of the Sustaining Engineering team (Part of Engineering Department), these technicians would support root cause analysis from a Material Review Board that is led by Engineering, and includes Quality, and Manufacturing representatives. The bulk of these findings are troubleshooting circuit card assemblies, and commonly dispositioning our rejected circuit cards to a reason that may include our incoming acceptance and test procedures have error, whether we have a design flaw, or whether the circuit card has been assembled by our contract fabricator in a non-conforming manner. The techs must be able to follow a circuit card testing process sheet, understand circuit design enough to isolate issue, and communicate with the design engineer of the circuit card about the design
