Description:
Actalent is seeking an Environmental Scientist/ Field Technician, to support a Dynamic Compaction project in Miami. This project consists of converting a 95 acre property, including a very large hurricane debris landfill, into an industrial park. This is being accomplished using a construction technique calling Dynamic Compaction, which increases the density of soil/waste deposits by dropping a heavy weight at regular intervals to consolidate and improve the geotechnical characteristics of the deposit so that it can be suitable for redevelopment.
This Environmental Scientist/ Field Technician will be observing the dynamic compaction crane, taking measurements, documenting and report writing.
*MUST HAVE A TRUCK OR SUV TO GET TO THE JOB SITE
