Overview

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction estimating and project management.

Duties

- Oversee the estimation process for construction projects

- Analyze project requirements and develop accurate cost estimates

- Negotiate prices with vendors and subcontractors

- Collaborate with the construction management team to ensure accurate project costing

- Utilize software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid for estimating purposes

- Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase

- Manage contracts and ensure compliance with terms

Skills

- Proficiency in construction estimating techniques

- Strong project management skills

- Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and subcontractors

- Familiarity with construction sites and processes

- Experience with software tools like Bluebeam and HeavyBid

- Knowledge of cost control methods in construction projects

Candidates will manage bid requests for the processed piping team. They will coordinate with multiple internal departments on project collaboration. Candidates will work closely with key customers to provide solutions to challenges. They will streamline projects for bid, and how they are bid. Additionally, candidates will put together estimates for both Plan and Spec and Design Build opportunities.
