Job Description
- Inspect various job sites in the metro area before contractors begin digging for reconstruction.
- Utilize instruments and equipment to detect underground sewer systems and water piping.
- Mark the location of detected systems both on the ground and within software programs.
- Send updated information to the office team to update maps and blueprints.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in this industry is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Previous experience working in a field-based, hands-on capacity (preferred).
- 0-1 years of experience in surveying or locating (preferred).
- Previous experience working with blueprints or maps (preferred but not required).
- Comfortable working outside in different weather conditions (preferred).
Work Environment
This role involves working around the metro area and outdoors. The Field Engineer will ride with another team member to job sites and work collaboratively on projects. The workday typically starts at the office around 7:00am, though start times may vary depending on the site location. Candidates must be comfortable working in various environments and conditions.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
