Description:
Must Haves:
1. 2-3 years Field Service experience
2. SCADA/Controls/Automation startup experience
3. Equipment Troubleshooting
Summary:
- Hands-on field position which requires SCADA/DCS knowledge, proactive learning attitude, good organization and communication skills.
- Bilingual a Plus
1. Travel as required domestically and potentially internationally (little if at all).
2. Update customer documentation based on field activities.
3. When not traveling, work in a Help Desk capacity in Customer Service Department.
4. Participate in the integration, loading, configuration and testing of SCADA, networking and communication hardware and software.
5. Work with customers to help startup, configure and cutover NEW equipment/systems.
6. Perform training in a formal and or ad hoc environment as required.
7. Write documentation; Test Plans/Procedures, User Manuals, How to Guides, etc.

SCADA, Field Service, SCADA, Controls, PLC, TCP/IP, sql, product testing, documentation/technical writing
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1. Good organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
2. Excellent communication skills. Must be able to communicate in writing and verbally coherently with customers and other departments within the Company.
3. Must be disciplined to follow procedures. ISO9001:2008 Registered Company
4. North American Travel, 15-20 percent.
5. Very responsible, dedicated, works well under pressure.
6. MUST be decisive, willing to make decisions.
7. Administratively required to submit weekly timesheets, Expense Reports, Trip Reports and update User documentation as required.
8. Good Customer Service attitude and skills.
1. Networking experience (hardware & software): LAN experience with routers, bridges, switches, TCP/IP and Ethernet. Hands-on experience a MUST, some theoretical preferred.
2. Communication: Lease Line, Radio (154/900 MHZ), Spread Spectrum, cable, Internet. Hands-on experience a MUST, some theoretical preferred.
3. PC Hardware: NIC, video cards, modems, serial & parallel ports.
4. PC Application Software Experience: Microsoft suite, ACAD, graphic software, SQL/ODBC, etc.
5. Operating Systems Knowledge: OpenVMS, NT, Microsoft Windows
6. Fluent understanding of electrical/electronic schematics and interconnection diagrams
7. Industry Experience: Utility Power, Municipal, Coop., IOU (Investor Owned Utility), Transportation PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), DCS (Distributed Control Systems)
8. PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) knowledge.
9. Hands-on experience with test instruments (meters, scopes, analyzers, debuggers, simulators, etc.)
