Our client is currently hiring for a Hardware Engineer to assist in the development of hardware concepts in conjunction with other key stakeholders! In this role you will be developing prototypes and test new hardware designs.
Responsibilities:
- Prototype and test new hardware designs
- Perform schematic entry and layout using Altium Designer
- Prepare PCB projects for manufacturing
- Debug and validate electronic circuits
- Work with firmware team to validate and debug hardware designs.
- Work with suppliers to source components and finished assemblies
- Manage project requirements and deadlines.
Skills and Qualifications
- Hands-on experience and a proven track record in hardware design and development
- PCB design/layout experience using ECAD tools (Altium Designer or similar)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is preferred
- Extensive circuit prototyping experience
- High Speed Design
- Circuit testing and debugging skills
- Circuit simulation experience is a plus
- Friendly, flexible, and a team player
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously while meeting required deadlines
- Good problem-solving skills
