Description:
Seeking a Human Factors Engineer to add to an R&D team to support a medical device product. This individual will lead human factors engineering work and research for their specific business unit. This individual will be performing and conducting human factors/usability studies for hardware, software, labeling and disposable products. -work with little direction and will be working to manage a team that will coordinate all the human factors activities within product development and small project on existing devices. -lead the studies and coordinate with multiple different teams globally on these projects . this will include partnership with the R&D teams to help develop product prototype for user interface evaluation and validation -Develop and communicate scope of the project, plans, tasks and deliverables with program teams. Need to be able to manage and maintain deadlines ensuring that milestones are hit and clear -Provide some technical supervision to other team member and manage a small group of individuals

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Ideal candidate is going to be someone that has come from a Medical Device company that has Class II or Class III products. Looking for experience with complex therapies and has a strong understanding of FDA requirements. Also someone that has experience or understanding of a working for a large global company.
