As a Commercial HVAC Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in estimating and managing projects within our division. Reporting to the Director of the HVAC Division, you will be responsible for ensuring successful project execution, from bid preparation to project completion. This role offers the opportunity to lead and contribute to projects that have a significant impact on our clients and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Bid Preparation: Review project plans and specifications to prepare accurate bids.
Material Take-off: Conduct detailed take-offs of materials required for each project.
Cost Estimation: Estimate labor, materials, and equipment costs necessary to complete projects.
Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and manage subcontractors as needed for project success.
Team Leadership: Oversee field crews to ensure projects are completed on time and in accordance with plans.
Technical Calculations: Perform heating and cooling load calculations using applicable software.
Procurement: Procure necessary equipment and materials for projects.
Team Collaboration: Coordinate the work of designers and technical support staff as needed.
Client Communication: Maintain open communication with customers throughout all project stages.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of HVAC technical experience required in a HVAC Management role.
- 3-5 years of commercial HVAC estimating experience preferred.
- 3-5 years of commercial HVAC project management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of steam, hydronic, and plumbing systems required.
