Job Title: Lab Coordinator

Job Description

The Lab Coordinator will work within the specialty chemical sales sector, providing expertise in surfactants, emulsifiers, and raw materials. This role involves collaborating with research departments to demonstrate how ingredients enhance product formulations, supporting customers with technical challenges, and driving sales. Additionally, the candidate will attend trade shows to help promote the company.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with research departments to showcase ingredient efficacy in product formulations.
• Support customers with technical challenges related to specialty chemicals.
• Drive sales within the specialty chemicals sector.
• Attend trade shows to promote company products and network within the industry.

Essential Skills

• Technical skills in chemistry and biology.
• Experience in laboratory environments.
• Sales acumen, particularly within specialty chemicals.
• Quality control and sample management proficiency.
• Data entry and inventory management capabilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science field or sales.
• 3-5 years of experience within a laboratory setting, preferably in personal care or cosmetics.

Work Environment

The work environment is characterized by a very close-knit family culture with 20 members, always supportive of each other. The schedule for full-time employees is 8:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential for remote flex opportunities upon discussion.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $33.65/hr.
