Job Title: Lab Pack Chemist

Job Description

A dedicated environmental services company, is looking for a Lab Pack Chemist in the Raleigh area. The primary responsibilities include providing various packaging and repackaging services for hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals, accurately inventorying, segregating, and packing materials for transportation and disposal. The role also involves supervising routine customer site lab pack projects, and providing paper pack and customer pre-pack services.

Hard Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Life Science or Environmental Science
• Experience in lab environments dealing with hazardous chemicals
• Knowledge of chemical handling and DOT regulations

Soft Skills

• Ability to work in a team
• Comfortable in a laboratory setting

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Friday with normal working hours, including up to 1-2 days of travel per week. Travel includes a $45 per day per diem that is nontaxable. The team assembles at the Raleigh office before heading out for the day
