Description:
Client is seeking a Landscape Architect/Civil Engineer to work in their Berkley, MI office on a variety of sports and recreation projects. Candidates will provide site analysis, conceptual design, production of construction documents, project presentation graphics, project management, and construction administration efforts. This position is ideal for candidates that are willing to learn, grow and enhance their professional skills and advance professionally in the long

DAY-TO-DAY:
- Design and project management from Conceptual Design through Construction.
- Prepare project document plans and reports for projects.
- Partnering with the design team for planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the technical aspects of
- projects.
- Communicates effectively with clients and other team members to resolve technical project issues.
- Present and explain designs and provide service to meet client’s goals.
- Participates with other members of the design team to finalize project documents.
- As part of the construction administration team, effectively communicates with contractors to implement project
- intent.
- Reviews and responds to construction related RFIs and submittals.
- AutoCAD 2D will be used daily, and will also use Civil 3D on occasion, along with Adobe Creative Suite for renderings.
This position can be fully remote, but they need someone in Michigan to be able to come to their Berkley office for training for the first few weeks, and for occasional client meetings, team meetings, and team building events.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVES:
- Bachelors in Landscape Architecture OR Civil Engineering
- 2 years of AutoCAD 2D experience
- 2 years of experience working on Landscape Architecture and/or Civil Land Development projects
- Experience with schematic design, design development, and construction documents
- Knowledge of code compliance requirements and industry standards
BONUS:
- Civil 3D experience or knowledge
- Project Management skills
- Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Adobe Acrobat knowledge
- Experience with Land Development projects
- Experience with Sports Fields or Recreation Parks projects
