Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

Guide efforts to redesign current manufacturing methods. Retrofit existing equipment. Assist in the specification of new equipment. Create custom quality gage designs. Partner with all levels of the organization to deliver solutions that meet quality, productivity, maintenance, safety, and ergonomic goals.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 5 years of related mechanical design experience
• 2 years of experience with 3D CAD modeling
• Experience with dimensional engineering and tolerance analysis

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Design for Manufacturing Experience
• Familiar with Process FMEA analyses
• Skilled in the creation of quality systems and gage system design
• Familiar with work instructions and process documents
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Quick learner with a high level of ambition and drive
• Strong people skills, able to work in a highly collaborative team environment
• Hands-on practical manufacturing experience
• Fenestration experience is a plus

Work Environment

Will work in an office and cross-functionally with the manufacturing team and production floor. Enjoy a work/life balance with a flexible schedule. The role impacts both new product and legacy product.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
