Job Description
Seeking a skilled Design Engineer to design Industrial Gas Turbine Engine components and systems, ensuring they meet fit, form, and functional requirements. The role involves supporting the development and adherence to Product Safety Management (PSM) design systems, including maintaining job folders, documentation, technical reviews, drawings, engineering changes, and overseeing field validation plans and verification. Candidates will analyze components to ensure they maintain appropriate stress levels and meet life requirements. The role requires utilizing design/analysis tools such as Creo, ANSYS, and Microsoft Excel to lead or support scheduling, project engineering, and procurement efforts for timely delivery of components. Responsibilities also include evaluating supplier quotes and capabilities, assessing critical path schedules for design, manufacturing, and procurement activities, and creating and leading presentations for internal and external clients.
