Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in manufacturing and design. The ideal candidate will provide support for customer requirements, improve safety, quality, yield, and throughput, and lead projects to implement new products, processes, and materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for customer requirements, improving safety, quality, yield, and throughput.
• Lead projects to implement new products, processes, and materials.
• Design manufacturing methods and automated systems.
• Create and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models using CAD software (SolidWorks).
• Develop maintenance strategies and oversee the installation of automation systems.
• Identify and implement process automation for improved efficiency.
• Collaborate with staff and vendors to ensure efficient production methods.
• Develop mechanical designs for products, jigs, and machinery.
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation and prepare performance reports.
• Perform cost studies and apply statistical methods for manufacturing requirements.
• Provide engineering support to resolve technical problems in production.
• Train and support team members during the implementation of new equipment and processes.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Experience in automation, robotics, and lean manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Work Environment

The work environment includes working with advanced technologies and equipment, focusing on manufacturing and design. Candidates will be expected to work collaboratively with various teams and vendors to ensure efficient production methods. The role may involve overseeing the installation and maintenance of automation systems.
