Job Description: Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong electrical experience to join our Engineering Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating building layouts in AutoCAD to ensure our clients have adequate space for industrial washer equipment. Additionally, the role involves new product development in Solidworks for new product lines and updating existing designs. Training to program machines will be provided in the future. Candidates must be curious, willing to work hands-on in changing environments, and possess a cultural fit with our organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop building layouts in AutoCAD for industrial washer equipment.
- Engage in new product development and update existing designs using Solidworks.
- Manage multiple projects, including new product development, building layouts, and customer service.
- Travel domestically up to 20% to customer sites for building layout assessments.
- Provide support for new product development and new client orders.
Essential Skills
- 2-5 years of experience in engineering with a heavy electrical background.
- Proficiency in Solidworks for component-based design.
- Experience with AutoCAD, particularly in building layouts.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel domestically with a valid US Passport.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience traveling to client sites.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of manufacturing-based experience, with a focus on electromechanical systems.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $42.00/hr.
