Actalent is Hiring a Team of Medical Assistants / First Shift!!

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in the patient care process by performing duties such as check-in, obtaining patient information (height, weight, medical questionnaire), recording vitals such as blood pressure, and assisting the physician. This position requires a positive attitude, compassion towards patients, and the ability to work confidently with demanding providers and patient load.

Job Description:

• Check-in patients and obtain essential information such as height, weight, and medical questionnaire responses.
• Record vital signs including blood pressure.
• Assist the physician during examinations and procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records using EMR systems.
• Perform phlebotomy and handle blood pressure monitoring.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Support various medical tasks within primary care, pediatrics, internal medicine, and cardiology.

Essential Skills

• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant in the state of Florida (preferred).
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and EMR systems, particularly Epic.
• BLS certification.
• Excellent communication and professional skills.

Work Environment

Working onsite at a primary care clinic, seeing between 20 - 30 patients a day, Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00
