Sterilization Microbiologist

Responsibilities:

• Analyze chemical, biological, or microbiological products, raw materials, in-process materials, release test samples, or stability samples in support of the company's quality program.
• Interpret and evaluate analyses in terms of accuracy and precision compared against established specifications and recommend and implement corrective action where necessary.
• Develop, validate, and implement controlled environment methods.
• Apply existing techniques and procedures with recommendations and implementation of modifications for improved efficiency, or devise and develop new analytical methods and techniques.
• Perform qualitative tests or quantitative assays on samples using techniques that vary from the use of standard analytical equipment to highly modern and automated instrumentation.
• May also be involved in establishing requirements for the transfer of methodology.
• The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing projects from design to implementation while adhering to policies using specialized knowledge

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Microbiology or Biology.
• 2-3 years of experience working within a microbiology role specifically with Ethylene Oxide sterilization.
• 2-3 years of experience with Sterility, bioburden, endotoxin testing, ethylene oxide
• Experience with industrial sterilization and the application of applicable standards ISO 11135 ISO 11737-1 and -2 ST72
