Description:
This is for an Overnight Pharmacist position at a closed-door pharmacy, filling primarily hospice and palliative care. This role will work overnight while the pharmacy is closed; primarily responsibility will be compounding and working with and managing two overnight techs. Provide clinical consultative services to patients and therapeutic recommendations to nurses, physicians, and other hospice personnel. Conduct and evaluate medication profiles/histories, assess compliance and suggest modifications in order tooptimize medication regimens using sound clinical pharmacy principles, accounting for pharmacodynamic andpharmacokinetic variations in drug absorption, distribution, metabolism and elimination to achieve desiredtherapeutic outcomes. Answer customer questions and help resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner. Enter, access, and retrieve data in the pharmacy system. Transcribe, verify, and fill prescription orders. Maintain proper storage and security conditions for medications. Contribute to the maintenance of a productive and error-free work environment by keeping pharmacy work spaces neat and orderly.

This is a GTW so Day 1 this person has to be a licensed pharmacist in oklahoma. can potentially have less experience (1-3 years) but must be willing to work exclusively overnights. Will be working with 1-2 pharmacy techs as well. Pharmacy is open 10-6 7 days a week.
